How Meditation Can Help You Overcome Your Fury and Be More Calm and Peaceful?
Anger leaves any person exhausted and rob them off their happiness and positivity. An angry person is always full of complains and grudges about life, their circumstances and people around them, which is precisely why they have a lot of negativity in and around them. Anger also leads to a number of health related problems such as heart strokes, headaches, high blood pressure etc. However, meditation and life coaching can help you to deal far better with your anger and enjoy life, good health and family. Find out here how meditation can help you overcome anger.
What Angry People Assume?
People who are always full of anger are often busy assuming that they aren’t wrong in their position, that they aren’t responsible for it, which is why they don’t make an effort to question their behavior and way of thinking at all. to focus on the other important things in their life. Somewhere deep inside their minds, they know that they have no control on themselves and that nobody wants to come any closer to them, owing to their unreasonable and rough behavior.
What you can do about your Anger?
One of the easiest things that you can do to control your anger is to prepare a list of the things, people or situations that infuriate you.
Next is to find out where this comes from. What did you think and feel right before getting angry? You could try to control your rage and remember that you shouldn’t be yelling or displaying your fury before others. But it will only suppress it and postpone its explosion! So it is not recommendable from my side.
When you review your list, you’ll notice that most of the points that infuriate you are predictable and you can easily overcome those triggers and remain more calm and peaceful. Awareness is always the start to change.
How Can Meditation Help?
Meditation is extremely powerful and helpful when it comes to overcome anger. Meditation helps you by becoming simply far more aware of yourself, thoughts and emotions. That means you will identify the sources and triggers of your anger.
- Meditation Helps in Re-balancing Stress Hormones: When you are angry, your muscles tighten up, your blood pressure as well as heart rate increases. Apart from this, you also experience an adrenaline rush, which increases the volume of cortisol (a stress hormone) within your body. This can further lead to sleeplessness and physical, emotional and mental health problems. With meditation, you can re-balance your hormones and stay more peaceful, calm and serene.
- Helps in fixing the Emotions that Cause Fury: Angry people hold a lot of grudges from their past and even their present situation. However, when they choose to release all the frustration, anxiety, stress and negativity from their lives, they feel-calmer and composed. Meditation can help such people release all their frustrations and wrath and master their emotions, body and mind in a manner that they may have never experienced before.
- Boosts Serotonin Level: Meditation helps in boosting the level of Serotonin, which is neurotransmitter that induces happiness and feeling of well being. Even the anti-depression medications focus on raising the serotonin levels in our mind and body. As a result, one reaches the highest level of satisfaction and awareness in his/her life and feel less angry or infuriated.
To conclude, people can easily manage oneself and reach the point to not create anger – through awareness. The highest state to reach is to not create anger anymore but receiving happenings around you with ease and a composed mind. However, for that they need first to prepare themselves mentally. If you experience far too much anger, then it is maybe time for a meditation session.
