Choose Regeneration: It’s Your Key to Happiness

By now you know that Covid-19 is here to stay and may never go away. The lockdown restrictions are being lifted, but positive cases continue to rise. During the lockdown you managed your home, your chores, your (perhaps shrinking) finances, your relationships (long-distance and proximal), your job (work from home or staggered shifts), but did you give any importance to self-management?

If not, it’s time to stop your life from controlling your body and mind and disrupting the flow. Regenerate and improve your emotional and mental health to take control of your life, renew yourself and invite more energy and vitality into your life.

What is regeneration? Regeneration is “the process of being reformed, regrown, or created again. ”Your body’s singular purpose is regeneration. It constantly tries to heal and renew from injuries and illnesses. Whether you have a cold, flu, cancer or a slipped disc, your immune system fights to keep you healthy. The moment a foreign agent (antigen) enters your body, your brain signals it to spike a fever that pushes your immune system to start producing antibodies to fight the infection and make you healthy again.

A fever or mental and emotional exhaustion is your body’s cry for attention and a clear signal to pause and allow yourself to recover. A professional and experienced wellness or life coach will advise you that doing less for more is the key to happiness. Slow down, regenerate and accelerate your self-healing to help your body, mind and soul work together to restore balance in your life. Here are a few tips to help your body and mind feel free.

  • Learn to listen to your body.
  • Trust your body, and give your soul, mind and body what they need.
  • Let the body do whatever it needs to recover (e.g., resting not working).
  • Reconnect with your body and mind to make it work for and not against
  • Learn to live at your own pace.
  • De-clutter your life

Make regeneration your priority to keep your mind, body and soul happy and energetic.
